SPECIALIZED PIPELINE CLEANING
Rhino
Engineering provides comprehensive large-diameter sewer, interceptor, and storm
draincleaning services focused on restoring hydraulic capacity, reducing SSO
and localized flooding risk, and supporting long-term system performance. Our
team has executed critical cleaning operations at Denver International Airport
and on major interceptor systems, utilizing high-capacity, environmentally responsible
recycler vacuum technology; the Kaiser AquaStar. This approach is selected
specifically to minimize potable water consumption, enhance debris removal
efficiency, and reduce environmental impacts in sensitive and high-profile
operational environments. Our
cleaning capabilities include full lifecycle debris management, encompassing
field removal, volume quantification, and material characterization and testing
in accordance with applicable state and local regulatory requirements. We
coordinate compliant hauling and transport and manage disposal at approved
off-site facilities, maintaining strict documentation and chain-of-custody
procedures to ensure regulatory defensibility and environmental compliance.
This integrated methodology ensures that sewer and storm drain cleaning
activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with
environmental stewardship objectives from initial removal through final
disposal.
INSPECTION
Our experience includes
detailed condition assessment of gravity pipelines and manholes in accordance
with NASSCO standards, supplemented by pilot testing and application of drone-based
inspection technologies to evaluate confined or otherwise inaccessible
structures. Inspection data is subsequently integrated into engineering-grade
models and asset inventories developed in AutoCAD Civil 3D, enabling accurate
network representation, condition-based analysis, and informed rehabilitation
and capital planning decisions.
SURVEYING AND MAPPING
Our team has executed mapping and surveying in complex and remote terrains where existing records are incomplete or unreliable, including heavily vegetated environments where manholes are buried and conventional GPS acquisition is constrained. In these conditions, we implement field-verified control traverses, elevation validation, subsurface structure confirmation, and GIS–Civil 3D integration to produce accurate, engineering-grade asset inventroies and network models. This technically rigorous approach ensures accurate system representation, supports hydraulic and risk analyses, and provides clients with reliable data for design, rehabilitation planning, and long-term asset management.
TRAFFIC CONTROL PLANS
Our traffic
control plan design service combines advanced engineering with a
customer-centric approach to develop strategic solutions that improve traffic
flow and safety in any environment. From traffic flow analysis and signage to
detailed design of intersections, access points, and detours, we deliver clear,
